Route 13 heads inland gradually going uphill from the port of Yongsu to the village of Jeoji, mostly on a deserted narrow concrete road. There are also some forest trails, 3km of which was restored by the 13th Special Air Forces Brigade. The countryside is more rugged here.
8km along is the Nakcheon-ri Chair Park – village people all gathered to cut and trim the trees to create 1,000 different chairs, ranging from a three-story high giant chair to a small wooden stool, weird but we had a great lunch of green onion pancake there.
Overcast today with a strong headwind at times.
