At 7.5km, Route 9 is the shortest Olle stage. It includes 2 not so tough uphills and some very nice forest trails.
Warm and sunny, the air smells fresh after rain, the birds are singing so a good day’s walking. We continued about 5km into Route 10.
Sunshine at last, looks daunting but not so bad
Route 9 first climb, the ropes helped
View from the Oreum looking back on yesterday’s walk
Path along the cliff, air fresh after the rain
Tree shaped by the wind
Route 9 second climb a bit more rugged
Fishing vessel returning
Near the top the mountain is riddled with caves, relics of Japanese army war
A beautiful forest path
The descent was quite easy
Every day we have rice triangles for lunch, always a surprise what’s inside, always delicious
